At SOPA your child's Arts education is our priority. Students receive the best and safest training from experienced, qualified teachers. At SOPA we are the only Performing Arts studio in Australia that is an approved OSHC provider Queensland College of Teachers registered teachers, teaching every faculty. SOPA teachers are not only experienced in teaching their genre but they are also experienced educators working in school aged child care as well as school teachers working in State and Independent schools in Queensland.
We recommend new students take advantage of our 7 day trial option, before choosing which classes to enrol in. Once you have tried your class or classes, your registration documents will be processed and an invoice created for the remaining term.
The Studio has a compulsory uniform. For your first class we recommend new students wear covered in shoes with laces and something that can be moved in. T-shirt and loose fitting shorts are appropriate.
The Studio has a passion for helping the older student feel comfortable and capable in the Arts room. Often school teachers recommend further lessons to help support Dance or Drama studies if taken as an elective. At The Studio we are experienced in making your older student feel comfortable with the transition.
The Studio is proudly affiliated with Australian Teachers of Dancing. Offering Hip Hop, Jazz and Classical Ballet examinations from Grade 1 to Advanced each year with a 100% Pass rate.
Yes, any school aged student (Prep to Grade 6) is able to book into SOPA-OSHC Vacation Care. If your child will start Prep in the new school year they can be booked into SOPA-OSHC for the January session.
